Pokemon Moon

I didn't expect to be taking pictures of this game, but enough stuff was going on that I thought it might be fun to share. I guess we can start with the title itself: Pokemon "Moon." Like when you pull your pants down and "moon" somepony? So right off the box there's some innuendo involved.

The first picture I took of this game was a funny translation of "chicken skin." I think they meant "goose bumps?"

No major spoilers up ahead if you're worried. just a bunch of outrageousness that was all over this game! So click on the "Read more" below!

This Pokemon's species is Pikipek. It's like a woodpecker. But the game told me I can't name it "Pecker?" Okay that one might be my fault, but still...

Looking at the description for my attack "Disarming Voice" it does EMOTIONAL DAMAGE to the opposing Pokemon. That's harsh! It goes on to say "This attack never misses." Oh so dark! Bonus part of this picture is the Pokemon with the... Donald Trump hairdo?

This master training in his house is talking to his pet asking it to attack him saying "my body is ready!" But the modern slang translation of "my body is ready" refers to um, maturity and readiness for um, y'know... birds and bees stuff. Yeah. So what kind of training is going on in there?!

Elementary-school-level humor here. Meowth sleeps in YOUR MOM's bed! Woah?! What!?

They make you beat up preschoolers in this game! There's not really an option to let the poor kid win or anything. And when you do win, you take the kid's money. Not kidding, you get money for winning trainer battles.

Aw. Doctor Seuss reference! Not really funny but awww...

This must be like the chicken skin/goose bumps thing, But I don't know what "ready to cook with gas" is mis-translated from?

Why would a stuffed doll that can move itself be especially popular with... single women? OMG come ON! This is a KIDS game!

This character is introduced as a caretaker of a benevolent stray Pokemon refuge. But saying things like this I'm pretty sure she's going to turn out to be the villain?

If "chicken skin" wasn't bad enough the first time, a different character says the same thing! I just got chicken skin myself!

I guess this is fair since there WAS the Donald Trump-hair'd weasel in the game. Hillary's emails wound up in the Pokemon world somehow!

The silly Team Skull harasses you throughout the game in comical fashion. Until this girl threatens to "cut you to the bone." Yikes that's a bit extreme, you think?

The phrase "lil' homeslice!" got lots of laughs out of us. That's more like normal Team Skull.

Deep advice at the end of that game to not be sad to see a friend go away. No spoilers to who he's saying goodbye to. And they're only going on a journey so it's all just a bit of drama and stuff.

As the credits roll I wasn't quick enough the get the English translation team picture, but these editors should have caught "chicken skin," right?

The ending of "the story" is the beginning of "gotta catch them all!" There's plenty to explore and do after you watch the credits!

For example, you have to catch the legendary "Ultra Beasts!" But you shouldn't use regular pokeballs to catch them in. You have to use special million-dollar um,... beast balls. So go ahead and put those beast... balls.... in your pocket...

Browsed through the Pokedex to see if there was any inappropriate stuff there and found this "hot" dancing Pokemon. They are talking about fire attacks of course, not something else.

It took us nearly three hours to catch this Shiny Pokemon! My friend's first legit self-caught shiny Pokemon. For those that don't know about "shiny" Pokemon, this is kind of a big deal.
