Minty Went to Princeton

It's fun to imply that we attended classes and graduated from a school we simply visited. We got to Princeton on a biking scholarship!

Here's the sign! Welcoming us to Princeton. Is there a Princesston somewhere?

We've posted pictures of Princeton before but this is different because we rode our bike there? Click on the "Read more" to see some pictures!

It was 4.23 miles to the D&R Canal State Park. On the map it looked Princeton was not that far away so we decided to explore over in that direction.

We took the wrong side of the river and wound up on this narrow trail. Very nature-y over here.

Crossed over this big river, we knew we'd have to cross this so we're heading the right way!

Driving up Route 1 back to our apartment, there are 4 streets very close to each other with traffic lights on them we call the "boss characters." You rarely beat all four of them without getting stopped. Harrison St. is the last boss character before our exit.

Construction mess! If it's NOT your job, that looks like a lot of fun. But I bet some pony sees this a just a bunch of work.

Oooh, big old buildings! Are we there?

Thought it would be funny to take a... picture... of the camera shop. Who needs a camera now-a-days when everypony's phone has a camera in it?

Just on the other side over there is the shopping um, mall? Streets? Area? Big bunch of stores?

Yay we're on the Princeton campus! According to the computer on the bike, it's 6.3 miles from our apartment and took about an hour to get here.

There was probably an older class to get a picture of but we didn't feel like looking too much. 1883 not old enough for you?

More big old buildings. I think I posted a view of this wall before it's so pretty and has a puzzle to figure out on it.

Who takes a picture of the silly campus security car? Minty!

5 after 5. There was plenty of daylight left for our bike ride. I see this clock on this castle-looking building and think; were there clocks in medieval times? That was after castles, right?

London Plane Tree. Or is it just a plain tree? And why is it labeled?

Let's put some sand over there for the ancient sport of Beach Volleyball! Another modern thing looking odd next to the old buildings.
