Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! Or happy whatever-day-you-read-this-if-it's-not-Mother's-Day-anymore.

We pulled off the side of the road to get a picture of this traffic text display. What would your Mom say about your driving?

Not as many "Mom" pictures as we thought we got, but there's some other fun stuff, click on the "Read more" below.

I bet Google won't help you search for your shoes. Mom knows.

This card made my friend laugh a little and I guess it could be appropriate for Mother's Day. Who else loves their Mom this much?

Nature show at the Taco Bell window, as we watched these cute birds hopping about. When the weather gets warmer and we can eat outside, I wonder if the birds will hop around us like at a theme park?

We FINALLY got a super nice afternoon to get our first bike ride of the year. Rode past this um, house? I think they need it a little higher to be safe from the zombies.

Broken water pistol in this dried up fountain. Last year this fountain was not running much at all, We're not surprised it's dried up now.

Those are some pretty large wooden stakes down there, what kind of vampires do they have in New Jersey?

I'm glad we got out before these trees stopped blooming. There's a bunch of pretty pink flowers up here.

And even more pink flowers on the ground. They were actively raining out of the trees. It seemed like you could lay down for a few hours and get covered like snow.

There was some kind of thing over there we couldn't figure out what it was. Let's get  picture and see if we can zoom in and check later...

For Cinco de Mayo we decided to try out some Mexican-style Little Dragon Pizzas with some leftover nachos ingredients we had in the fridge. This English muffin thinks it's Dia de Los Muertos instead?

So we got toasted English muffins, salsa, nacho cheese, and we were lazy and got the jar of jalapenos. I would certainly recommend fresh ones, but the jar ones remind me of like, sporting events or other things so it's fun to get them sometimes.

These were... okay. Not great. Maybe next time we would try them on a corn chip but then it's like nachos too much? It's okay, they don't all have to be winners.

Saturday morning at 8:20 am, we were startled awake by furious hammering on the ceiling above us. Looks like the neighbor moved out and they were clearing out the place. How very considerate of them to schedule this type of demolition for early Saturday morning. Hey, 8:30 is early for us on a Saturday.

If you need more evidence of the ruckus they were causing, here's the truck they were filing with debris. To their credit, I think they did quiet down a bit when I caught them and mentioned I lived downstairs. We went out for lunch and they were done by the time we got back.
