Disney Vacation Stuff

Only a few more groups of pictures left to post from our um... recent... Disney World vacation. Can you believe we took that vacation about two months ago and I'm still posting pictures from it? This bunch is from all the crazy merchandise we saw. Rather than spend a bunch of money, just grab some fun pictures to share.

There's an overwhelming amount of them, but we like to get a pin or two to help us remember our trip. Even though we did not go see the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, it's right next to the Trail's End restaurant, and serves the same food for the show. It's the food we want to remember. And this also has Chip and Dale on it, so that's close enough. I bet they do have a Trail's End pin,... somewhere.

Here's a few other Chip and Dale pins. I'm guessing the "Donald's Mix Tape" is a Guardians of the Galaxy reference.

Remember it was Xmas shopping time while we were there, so this gingerbread cookie t-shirt was more in-style. Oh, snap!

I'm going to point out the grey eyes of the ducklings here on this Stitch statue, and now you're going to be bothered by it, too.

This picture should come with a music player to press and hear the tune. It's a great big beautiful tomorrow. Just a dream away. Or just listen to it in your head.

Again, good luck getting this beautiful $700 painting home. Is this an actual painting, or a print? I'm not trying to take away anything from the original work, because it looks amazing. I guess I'm trying to point out that either $700 is way too much for a high-quality print out, or $700 is way too little if this is an actual gorgeous painting.

There is all kinds of good things going on in this painting. Relaxing at night, happy frogs, playing the ukulele. Did you know Stitch is a genetically engineered killing machine?

Careful where you put those ears, Roger Rabbit. There's a surprising amount of Jessica Rabbit merchandise to be found here.

Aaaaand.... Boom. Thanks art store. For making me super sad. If you have not seen the Pixar movie UP!, good luck with that first 15 minutes or so. So hang this on your wall at home to be sad every time you look at it.

Okay let's bounce back with a fun story. These keys are from the Pirates of the Caribbean gift shop. We asked them if they had like, a dog chew-toy version of it, so you could actually have your dog hold them like on the ride. They thought it was a great idea, but no, that doesn't exist yet.

Br'er Rabbit plushie?! He's our pal from my friend's favorite ride! This was a casualty from "we have too much stuff already" logic, but we still wanted one.

It's like having an App.... literally ON your phone? There were lots of different pictures to choose from, we were happy the display one had Chip and Dale.

Here's a Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers pin for the character Gadget. Fun fact about Gadget; she was drawn inconsistently with having an under shirt, or not, under her jump suit. This pin doesn't seem to have it drawn on.

Do you have a favorite stretch painting from the Haunted Mansion? This is some seriously specific merchandise to collect. Can you imagine seeing this in someone's home and recognizing it? Like, instant connection!

These little bag clips were super adorable. They had all sorts of characters but the cutest one was this ice cream cone.

This t-shirt design is very relevant to my friend's life. He's always living in the "Expectations" mindset, when he should be more focused on the "Reality." While this is very funny on a t-shirt, it really made my friend pause and think when he saw it.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip and Dale! Rescue Rangers! Too bad this is a tank top, it it were a regular t-shirt version we would have surely taken one home.

Gadget's Garage t-shirt is a much more "hidden" reference to the Rescue Rangers show. But my friend doesn't think he can get way wearing a pink t-shirt. 1989? I thought it was a little earlier than that.

This Xmas ornament from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 looked like an actual real cassette tape! How "awesome" would it be if this had the actual music on it, as well? If it doesn't, could you just put your own awesome mix on it instead?

DON'T try the one you think is "Lemon" flavor! Check out super-clever Dale aiming at the snowman head so it will fall on Chip.

Splash Mountain statue! How does the rabbit escape again? He seems horribly out-matched.

Hahaha check out Beast, trying to not get caught checking out Jessica Rabbit. Do you think they pose these in the display case like that on purpose, or is it just an accident? Beast wishes he was turned slightly more to the left.

This gift shop has a scheduled Disney Artist that will draw requests! So if you are having trouble finding any merchandise for your favorite character, this is the place to go! There's a bunch of pre-done sketches for when they are not around.

I should have thought of this while we were there, but we have a friend who is a big fan of the Disney+ short-film show Forky Asks a Question. So I'm sure we could have gotten a shrug'd Forky saying "I don't know!"

This is the type of thing you should plan on doing. Come here on vacation with a character sketch in mind before you ask, because I'm sure a lot of people are just stunned by the possibilities.

Here's some dinosaur-costumed Chip and Dale plushies! My friend's favorite Disney character is Dale, AND his favorite dinosaur is the Triceratops!

This Wanted poster for Redd says her crimes are Mischief & Mayhem. Those don't sound like serious crimes to me.

My friend got a big laugh when he pointed out the "Dead Plushies" section. Hey! They are just napping!

This is the MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE version of the build-your-lightsaber experience we had on the Black Spire Outpost.

These Disney Princess pens made my friend uncomfortable, as it looked a little inappropriate to hold one in his hand and mimic writing with it. We all got a laugh out of it. It's just a pen.

Since it was Food and Wine Festival going on in Epcot, the limited-edition POP! Figure was this Chef Figment. We have tons of POP! Figures so we have to be extra-selective with any new ones to add to the collection. You're cool Figment, but not quite cool enough.

We did take home this pen with the tiny Chip & Dale Snack Co. pretzel bag on it. Shown here with an actual-sized pretzel bag for comparison.

Fail! My friend saw this coin-muncher machine and thought it would be cool to get a 2019 Chip and Dale pressed quarter. Except this machine, and no where else in the park, could convert Magic Band payments into real coins.

So if you want to do these coin machines, make sure to bring some pocket change with you! We did think of the idea of trying to fish some coins out of a nearby fountain, but that's ridiculous, right? Haha
