Getting Around

Hi Everypony! Okay it's been a slow couple of weeks, and I'm not going to use the word "boring" instead I'll use the much better word "relaxing." I thought it would be fun to post some pictures of me not being bored, but relaxing...

New York Toy Fair 2013

Here I am outside the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan. Through the glass sides you can already see giant banners for various toys. We took tons of pictures click on the "Read more" to check em out!

Minty gets the Scoop at Toy Fair 2013

I planned on making a bigger post later about my amazing experience that I had a chance to go to the New York Toy Fair, but I HAD to post this RIGHT AWAY!!!

 You see, Enterplay makes the My Little Pony trading cards (which we have a ton of!) along with other merchandise. Like this Lunch Box featuring Ditzy Dew, more commonly known as "Derpy." Now up until today, they had only shown the front of the box, and not the sides. They had planned on posting pictures later today on their facebook page, but when I arrived at the booth they encouraged us to "get the scoop" and let us take the pictures BEFORE they posted them.

So how about that?! By the time you read this, they will probably have posted the pictures already, but I was THERE and they were cool enough to not only let us take pictures, but wanted us to post them BEFORE they would have! Even though I couldn't get to a computer to post this until later, it was still very exciting to have gotten a news "scoop!"

Minty on Vacation - part 2

Aren't blogs weird that you read them from the bottom up? Okay so go read the last entry below to remember that we went to Florida for a few days and here's a continuation of some pictures we took.

We didn't go to any Disney theme parks but we did make it to Downtown Disney which is like a theme park but only the shopping and no rides. This castle was in the massive Disney store.

Minty on Vacation - part 1

In December we took a trip down to Florida. Going down from up north, it was amazing to get such good temperatures for a while. If you are reading this from Florida, um, you can ignore that bit.

 Do Pegasus ponies fly this high? Looking down on the patterns of roads and lakes is so neat. That looks like a great place for a home? No, THAT spot. Ah, it's a bit hard to point out things...

Here's an "update" of sorts. This frozen crater is where the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog restaurant used to be in Yonkers. It doesn't look like it, but there's a big fence around it, we just took the picture through it.

Happy Holidays?

I guess it's a little late to wish everypony Happy Holidays? Well here's a few pics we took while out-n-about during the big shopping season.
