Random Catch Up

In the time taken up by the many postings about the Toy Fair and snow, I've got a lot of just plain random fun pictures saved up. Some of these are a little old but still fun.

Remember the Olympics? We were watching the Ice Dancing competitions and there was a lot of um, odd content. Is that guy lucky or unlucky to have this woman's butt all in his face like that? Was he like "Let's practice that butt in the face move some more."

More Olympic Ice Dancing um, WHAT? pictures. They held this position for a glide-around. Sure it looks physically like it's difficult to do something like that on ice skates, but seriously kids are watching this.

I know I took these pictures a while ago, but I think I remember these two won the gold medal. He spun her around while she um, sat on his face? I also remember they said later that they toned-down the sexuality of this portion of the routine, originally she was upside-down with her spread legs in his face. So this is better obviously.

This is a bit of over-explaining, but when he was a kid my friend made a spoof of the movie Rambo with his buddies and instead of Rambo and Colonel Trautman, it was Davebo and Colonel Daleman. Can you imagine my friend's glee to discover that "Daleman" was an actual name? Also have to mention this poor girl emphasized why we usually hate watching figure skating. Because she fell down. A lot. And each time was more heartbreaking than the last. But still got to give her credit for getting back up each time and finishing like a true Olympian.

Random cereal box with the hard-sell of saving bees. Like where's the mascot? He's a bee. Do kids need to have the burden of saving the bees? Needless to say, we DID buy the cereal, and are waiting until spring to plant the flowers.

Still in the cereal isle, this poor cinnabunny is speaking to you that it's gluten-free. So you can gobble 'em up!

Told you these were some random pictures. Here we have some Nendoroid figures from the video game series Senran Kagura that my friend mail ordered since they were Japan-exclusives. This is the renegade Crimson Squad and of course you can tell they are ninja students. 

It's a blurry picture as we speed by on our way to lunch, but we noticed the street sign is on this person's fence? How does that work?

Walking Dead crossbow. Wait, it says "Dwight's" Crossbow? What the?! Shouldn't it be Daryl's Crossbow?

 Who want's to smell Peeps and never get to eat any? Torture candle! Trick! There are no Peeps!

 Laughed when we saw this mashed up shopping cart and had to get a picture of it!

Agh! At the Toys R Us across from the Newark Airport and this place was a mad house! Felt like a crazy flea market with all of the empty shelves and cheap weird leftovers.

Death Star Mickey Mouse Ears at the Disney Store in the Jersey Gardens Mall. Fear will keep the systems in line.

Who else wants a Hot Wheels chess set? Here's the Queen. We were excited to collect a set but after a little research discovered only the Queen, Knight, and two different Pawn cars have been released so far. 

During a commercial for the Navy we saw this ship and were like whoa, never seen a ship like that before! Like some crazy sci-fi ship? Is this part of Trump's Space Force already?

We added in an arrow to point to the "Crowley" sticker on this car. Supernatural fans know who he is, and would find it funny that after taking this picture we, no kidding, got stopped behind this car at like 5 red lights in a row. I guess this intersection counts as a "crossroads?"

Can you just hear the voice of Rick Grimes in your head saying "Is that a... Pony?" Haha the look on his face is so expressive!

Kind of an last-opportunity-purchase at a closing Toys R Us to get a full box of exclusive Kingdom Hearts blind-box figures. Because if you buy the whole box you get all of them. I know the sales were not the best yet but we guessed these exclusives are about to become a lot more exclusive when the stores go away. We did our best to not mess with the arrangement of the boxes since usually they try to keep them the same for ponies clever enough to do some research and get specific figures, here's the order we found them in.

The exclusive Toys R Us figures are these ones from the Tron levels which do not glow in the dark but are still very cool looking.
