Creepy Crawly Thing

Super random picture sharing time.

Caught this thing climbing the wall in the apartment. Thankfully it cooperated into the jar but it made a brief OMG dash away on it's 30 or so legs. It would have been impossible to sleep had it gotten away. Even in the jar, the thought of it having other friends is keeping us awake a little.

The newest Predator movie was well paced and entertaining but after watching it, you realize how terrible the plot was. Is it possible to like a movie and hate it at the same time? Because while we were watching it, it seemed pretty good.

Classic video game moment captured in this art piece. The funny bit is that it's a wooden sword, so it's really not that useful. More like an upgraded tree branch.

Ay caramba! Decided to old-school flip channels one night and my friend stumbles across a Spanish version of an ET or TMZ-type show called Testigo. The hostess' wardrobe choice was... muy caliente. He wonders if all Spanish shows are like this, and maybe it's time to learn some Spanish.

Found this tucked into the back of the 'fridge. From the vacation time share in The Outer Banks, this year they did not have the blue water bottles. So this thing is over a year old. Is it considered "collectible" yet?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer book in the kid's section. Joss Whedon's name clearly on the cover. He's a very clever guy who writes the best characters, but I'm nervous with this being a kid's book with such a violent source material. Can he possibly make this kid-friendly?

Oh this is brilliant merchandising they should have included with the last Call of Duty game. These Black Ops 4 figures are very detailed and $20 each but they come with an in-game code to unlock... stuff? Whatever it is, it better be worth $20, right? That's 1/3 the cost of the whole game!

Here's a picture for anypony who's thought "let me just play a little bit of my game real quick before dinner" and the update says "NOPE!" You gotta download 11 gigabits of content you didn't buy and can't use before you play.

That's a chill squirrel laying down vertically on this tree eating a goodie.

Kanye West performing on Saturday Night Live. This is not some kind of comedy sketch, he was actually singing a legit song dressed up as a water bottle. It's been pointed out to me that as much of an idiot he seems to be, am I just as much an idiot for taking a picture of the TV? Or are we both geniuses?

Here's a hot picture for you. Saw the sign that said "ornamental" peppers and wondered why they were being sold at a grocery store?

Back from the grave with Halloween s'cream filling. Remember when Twinkies became extinct for a while? That was truly scary.

Next to a particular stop light there's an old house that looks like the type of place an old Vampire would still live in.

There was a scene in The Walking Dead where "innocent" Carol bribed a kid with cookies so he would never tell anyone how menacing she really was. Now you can bake those cookies yourself! And pretend you have a secret you can never tell or else Carol will come and get you.

This picture didn't really come out well, but this peacock feather outfit was so ridiculous that we thought we'd post it anyway. Where would you wear that?

We usually can't resist buying a few packs of a new card game of a favorite brand, for art appreciation. Here's some from the newest Transformers TCG. My friend was very happy to have gotten Hound, one of his favorites. Flip the cards over to Transform them!

We couldn't resist getting a few of these new Wreck It Ralph Breaks the Internet blind-box figures either. They come with codes to unlock them in some kind of Pac Man game? Haven't done that yet.

Wandering through the fabric store, puzzled to see the G.I.Joe fabric. Is that still popular enough to make stuff with? I mean, my friend was still happy to see it, but confused, too.

Wrap-around art on this giant cereal box? Yeah, we noticed, art guy who thought nopony would notice Toucan Sam is not centered properly and wrapped around the art to compensate.

This picture doesn't show the third squirrel behind us. We were a little surrounded that day and the squirrels were acting a little aggressively. Calm down there are enough treats for all of you but please try to remain cute, okay?
