This blog started with an inspiration to share fun moments for somepony who was, and still is I hope, very dear to my friend. It grew into a comforting hobby to share fun moments with anypony who cared to look. We hope there's somepony out there who would still enjoy to share some fun moments with us.
Why would we take a picture of a floor tile? This tile came from a bathroom where it had come loose from the rest of the floor. Every time you stepped on it, which was often because it was right in the middle of the floor, it would stick to your foot and promptly fall off. Clink! It was annoying, but also a little funny. Kick it back into it's spot, ready to do it again. Why didn't anypony glue it down? Clink! Again. For years. The tile never broke, nor did anypony glue it down for good. When the bathroom was due to be renovated, we kept this lone tile to remind us of all the fun times we had. Just goes to show how something seemingly worthless can be precious. Some ponies would say it's just a stupid tile, throw it away.
Sorry for the cryptic ramblings. Click on the "Read more" below there's actual funny pictures there.
How's this for funny? We immediately rewound and paused the TV to get a picture of this Subway commercial featuring Ronald McDonald and Grimace taking a break from fast food. We wonder how many times it actually aired before McLawyers sued the special sauce out of Subway.
Oh sorry, your brand new game, on release day, will be ready to play tomorrow after it downloads a 50 gigabyte update.Sorry to report that the newest Call of Duty game Black Ops 4 is embarrassingly glitchy. I think Trump would tweet "sad." It's a shame it's so glitchy it seems like it would be such a great game otherwise. Maybe they'll update it with another 50 gigabyte patch later.
Another TV screen pause. This was street art in Canada somewhere that made us laugh.
The show Supernatural seems to struggle with producing relevant merchandise. But we gotta say, kudos to whoever thought up this awesome Moose and Squirrel necklace pair.
We were wowed by this Star Wars figure that seemed like an actual random background character. If you are listening Hasbro, that's the type of thing kids wanted back in the 80's. Sure Luke and Han were cool but we all secretly loved Ree-Yees and Bossk. Turns out Doctor Aphra here has tons of books written about her so that was cool to find out but seriously I think we need more random background figures.
Somepony cut a hole in this package and took just the head? This line of Transformers has heads that turn into robots that drive the vehicles. Or in this case, giant mechanical alligator. This one's head got chomped.
Just when all the Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and Lego Dimensions figures for video games thing seemed like a thing of the past, along comes Star Link to try and bring it back. I guess we still get Nintendo Amiibos, too.
There's Turbo chillin' on our doormat. If we were less careful we're certain he would just run right into the apartment. Wouldn't that be a fun bunch of pictures to post if that actually happened?
Plenty of Salandit figures have been made but we want the evolution of it; Salazzle. Where our Salazzle figures already? Although, we actually have a shiny Salazzle, so there's probably never going to be a shiny version figure anyway.
We took a picture of this squishy guy in line at Walgreens because it looked so familiar but we couldn't figure it out. Later we thought it reminded us of the Dig Dug guy. Yeah that must be it. Looks like the Dig Dug guy.
Who here is old enough to remember Atari paddle controllers? No Kaboom, but Excited to see Warlords in this collection. No mention on the package if two sets of these will allow 4 player games. Because you really need to experience some 4-player Warlords.
Um, so are there rules... for cheating now? How about you play regular Monopoly and um,... just cheat?
If you look closely at this HotWheels Teen Titans Go! Raven car, you'll see it has a tiny Pretty Pretty Pegasus in it! They put the Pretty Pretty Pegasus thing into the show as a My Little Pony reference because the Voice actor for Raven also does Twilight Sparkle. How awesome to see it in this car?
Here we were in the Wegman's waiting on the rotisserie chickens again. Wandered into a chocolate isle where you weigh the bags and type in codes to print price labels. Kind of neat but we have to escape this torture isle right away. So tempting!
.02 pounds? I'm doing alright. Maybe I'll just have a salad tonight.
They also had grains and nuts for trail mix, um... mixes. You know what I like most about a'monds? Everything about a'monds. It's ALmonds. With an L.
There was a station set up with some kind of body scrub thing? This is in a grocery store.
Here's a straggler picture from the Halloween bunch. I guess it's a little fitting for after Halloween, too. Who here is still working on their candy pile?
We had enough time to check the blood pressure machine. How's my friend doing? Wait. Don't answer that. We were talking about the blood pressure. At least that seems okay.
