Snooze-perbowl

We didn't take as many pictures of the Superbowl this year, but we still have a few we can make fun comments on. Also some other random bits.

News programs like to take pride in how accurate and correct they are, so it's fun to "catch" them in a slip-up. Unless math has changed since we've been to school, how many is "70,0000?" NBC stands for "No Body Checked this?" Haha.

Punt again! More pictures click on the "Read more" below!

If you thought one typo was going to go un-checked, NBC did it right after with 150,0000. I thought about only posting one picture, but I do have to post them both, because seeing the mistake twice is much more embarrassing for them. Also, assuming these numbers are "70,000 and 150,000" why are there over twice as many tourists as ticket holders? That math doesn't make sense either, but they probably did check that.

We got the biggest laughs out of these simple T-Mobile ads with the text messaging gags. There were several of them and they were all very funny.

If you are a Game of Thrones fan, then by a wide margin, the best commercial was when the Bud Light "Dilly Dilly" kingdom was invaded by The Mountain and Drogon. I wonder if they'll do a follow-up spot where Melisandre brings back the Bud Knight?

How could you not fall in love with Harrison Ford's puppy with the Alexa-for-dogs collar? Bark! "Ordering more food." ADORABLE! Also, that dog's name better be "Chewy."

We had a chocolate bar leftover from Xmas and chopped it up for some ice cream with butterscotch syrup. It looked nice enough to get a picture of it. Superbowl is a snacking holiday.

The crowd around Tom Brady at the end of the game was massive. We got a kick (pun intended?) out of imagining this is a scene from The Walking Dead. These types of reporters are kind of like zombies, right?

Okay back to the regular pictures. I have a very limited knowledge of Minecraft but I have a feeling that someponies would think this pillow is awesome.

Who would want to be on the Zombie Outbreak Response Team? How dangerous would that be? Where were they when Tom Brady needed them?

One night we heard water running through the wall like a faucet was turned on. It was pouring into the closet here. The upstairs neighbor overflowed his laundry machine and it spilled out and down into our place.

Without any context, we thought there was a lot going on with Kissing Bear Truck. There's got to be a good story there somewhere because that just doesn't make any sense at all.

Nopony wants a Bucket of Doom? Yay society! Maybe somepony will pick it up on clearance. Is that like, a statement? People will buy doom, but only when it's on sale.

Awwwwwwww yeah. Oreo cookies with maximum the white stuff. Pay no attention to the label that says each cookie is 110 calories. I'm still eating half the bag.

Each White Caslte box has a fun challenge on it, this one says to post a selfie. #BoldMove for Minty! Why is that all the way up on the Bold Meter? Don't kids like posting selfies now-a-days?

I don't know how you can beat this character for Worst Shopkin. It's a... toilet brush?! And you thought you had a crap life. Imagine being this guy.

We're not super Dirty Dancing fans, but we did think about buying this POP! Figure set so we could purposefully put it in the corner. Dirty Dancing fans got that joke.

Useless trivia fact of the day: Jason Momoa's Aquaman is in the Lego Movie 2, so he gets to play the same super hero in two different movies that are out in theaters at the same time.

Here's a bonus Minty-less cute picture we caught and are using for our computer wallpaper. When you see it, you'll know why.
