Ikea You!

One more set of pictures from the recent Ikea store visit.

This plush thing looked all kinds of creepy. Like if Tim Burton did Monsters, Inc.'s Mike Wazowski. According to the tag, his name is Förnyad. If this picture wasn't enough nightmare fuel, y'know,... you could just take one home with you.

They did not have our favorite pillow back in stock, while checking, we noticed that if you were looking for villain names, a trip here might be worthwhile: Axag, Stjärnlök, Julkaktus, and Rosenskärm. Those are just some PILLOW names.

Here's a kid busy spot. We tried to get a picture of the beads falling around when you spin this thing, but it was too fast for us. Wait, did this just keep us busy for a minute?

AHH! A big... rug... of that creepy Förnyad thing? Why would you even.... ah, why do I suddenly feel like I like this guy a little more? Note that price tag is for the larger rug behind him, he was only $89.

Turn the corner and BAM! more Förnyad themed items. Like I really need to wake up now... pinch pinch pinch it's not working....

That backpack tag is not so horrible. I could maybe deal with that...

I slowly turn around and laugh out loud at the sudden horror of this Förnyad-covered couch that had been right behind us. Like this is the exact moment the character snaps out of the nightmare.

Finally out of the nightmare. 99 dreams I have had, in every one a red balloon. If I could find a souvenir, just to prove the world was here. And here is, a red balloon. I think of you, and let it go...

I think I've taken a picture of this space lamp before, but it's still cool. Here's the side-by-side of it both open and closed. We'll see this in some outer-space movie and laugh that we saw that lamp in an Ikea store.

All of a sudden.... I'm in Paris! totally not a wall-sized photo art.

Hahahahaha this plant looked like a butt! We sat there for a minute thinking "we have to get the butt plant" but passed anyway. Sometimes all you need is the funny picture.

Doesn't Dryck Rabarber sound so appealing? Here's the grocery section near the exit.

Mmmm Mmm! Gotta get some of that Sylt Jordgubb! Good thing they have pretty pictures because all by itself Apelsin & Fläder doesn't sound so good.

Looks like they were doing construction on the loading area. Guess you gotta drag your stuff a lot farther until they get this done.

Next to the American Flag and the New Jersey Flag, they were flying a Rainbow Flag because it was that Pride-Celebration Saturday. Pretty classy thing to do, Ikea.
