Garden Sneak

As much as we ride our bike around Princeton, we still discover little secrets all the time. So that's a cool excuse to get some pictures to share.

The intense smell of.... fertilizer... almost made us turn around. But it looked like there was nobody around and why not explore a bit? We were in the mood to explore a bit.

Garden Work Day hours. Not that we would volunteer, but could we?

It mentions the Garden is here for learning purposes but who gets the goodies? The local rabbits probably. The gate was not locked and we took that as an invitation to sneak around.

Forbes College is like, right next door to Princeton I guess. That seems weird but maybe they have some classes to explain how that works.

There's a fire pit thing over here. Is that part of gardening somehow?

There was no mention of what this odd spiral thing was for. The only thing it seemed to do was draw our attention away from wherever the garden was.

Oh, there's the garden. It looked rather tiny and sad. Sorry garden. I'm going to blame climate change haha. Too many carbon footprints or whatever.

There's the compost piles that smelled so... smelly.

Just when we thought we heard a bunch of bees flying around, we glance over and see... a BUNCH OF BEES! Yup. Time to move along. Quickly.....

Those hideous heads-on-poles Chinese Zodiac statues are still there. In case you were wondering.

Another hidden discovery, this reflecting pool next to this art center building. This place is up on a hill, there's a pretty big cliff over on the other side there.

Somebody probably thought they were doing "art" here with the tiles, but it kind of just looks like they got lazy instead.

That over there reminds me of a Super Mario level where the camera zooms out and you have to run him around the treehouse inside that building. What a weird cool looking place.

From up here, you can look down on the train station. Is that a garden on the roof? Later, as we rode past the station, we noticed it seemed to have a rather large gift shop. Maybe we should check that out one day.

One last picture of the art center building of this bizarre spot next to the ground that resembled an airplane window. Wow... what? Seriously if you look inside, there's just floor over there. Totally strange.

Down a road we've not taken before, we spot another Bruce Springsteen tribute. Hey, just let the New Jersey people be proud of their one guy, okay?

Check out this car we spotted. It looks grrrrrrrrrreat!

Yeah, we had to see if there was a tiger face on the front of it. That's the Princeton team mascot if you didn't know. Could you imagine this car pulling up behind you at a red light? You'd look back and go AHH!!

After seeing this open hatch to this light pole hasn't been closed in like, years, we hid one of our Bike Path Ninja Druids in it. It's a dark picture but while riding past you can clearly see her. If you look. A week later and she was still there, so this might be a good spot.

Bunch of rainy days followed by a scorcher created this cool mud peeling effect down this stretch of sidewalk. Cool. Or... hot. Or... dry? Whatever.
