New Hope Solo

New Hope! We've visited before but it's been a while since we went, so we... went. And took a bunch of pictures to share. 

If you don't remember, we park the car in Lambertville, New Jersey, and then walk across the bridge into New Hope, Pennsylvania. And if you're a tourist, you stop for the photo op on this line on the bridge.

Inspiration

This blog started with an inspiration to share fun moments for somepony who was, and still is I hope, very dear to my friend. It grew into a comforting hobby to share fun moments with anypony who cared to look. We hope there's somepony out there who would still enjoy to share some fun moments with us.

Why would we take a picture of a floor tile? This tile came from a bathroom where it had come loose from the rest of the floor. Every time you stepped on it, which was often because it was right in the middle of the floor, it would stick to your foot and promptly fall off. Clink! It was annoying, but also a little funny. Kick it back into it's spot, ready to do it again. Why didn't anypony glue it down? Clink! Again. For years. The tile never broke, nor did anypony glue it down for good. When the bathroom was due to be renovated, we kept this lone tile to remind us of all the fun times we had. Just goes to show how something seemingly worthless can be precious. Some ponies would say it's just a stupid tile, throw it away.

Hightstown Halloween 2018

Upon recommendation, My friend took his girls over to nearby Hightstown to roam around and get some Halloween fun. By "girls" I mean Minty and Lucille. Do you have to ask who Lucille is? That's part of the costume!

It's amazing how much cheer a leather jacket and a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire can generate. We couldn't go more than a few minutes without somepony yelling "NEGAN!" happily. It was really quite uplifting.

Halloween 2018 part 2

More pictures of Halloween shopping adventures. So we kind of backed-up the picture posting and these are up after Halloween. Kind of like the reverse of when stores get in the holiday merchandise months ahead of the date, but I guess these are only a few days late. Anyway... Enjoy the extended spookiness.

Zombie store? A lot of old Toys R Us store locations were resurrected into pop-up Spirit Halloween Stores. So, like, the happy toy store is now a ghoulish version of it's former self. It felt a little cool being able to sneak back into those places for a little bit.

Happy Halloween 2018

It's costume time of the year so these Spirit stores pop up all over the place like zombies rising from the ground. They never have any costumes in my size but we like to go in and see what's interesting.

Bike Rides from a few weeks ago
