Xmas Travels

Happy New Year! Here's some pictures we took while traveling South for the Xmas holiday. So I guess this is still last year?

Some time during our trip, our car hit the 150,000 mile mark. Fun fact, if you look at this picture in a mirror, it still shows the same number.

Click on the "Read more" below for more pics!

Taken the day before we left for vacation. We didn't actually see this movie yet, but it looked like a fun photo-op in the theatre so we got the picture. See me hanging onto Spider Gwen's arm?

Here's the movie we just saw, Aquaman. Coming soon? Haha... slackers!

The mall is open late for Xmas shopping, so we can climb over the kid play area while it's late and nopony is in the mall. This dolphin has always got this "who's on my head?!" look about it.

This might look like a big statue, but it's a little soft, too. It must be difficult for the engineers to make it climb-able and fall-able at the same time.

We wanted to climb over the velvet rope and get a picture on the couch over there, but... the velvet rope. Sigh.

Aww. Elementary School art display in the mall! Are you inspired?

We feel a little terrible about ourselves for laughing at this. It looks like it's supposed to be a compass or map, but all we saw was that it looked like somepony was sniping snowmen through a scope.

There was a fox hanging out in the backyard. We didn't get a chance to find out what it says.

While out shopping, we stopped into the Dave and Busters, and my friend played this coin dropping Star Trek game. That Chekov is about to fall!

Down he goes! That's worth 50 tickets, or 5000 if you get the full set. My friend says he plays this all the time and has gotten a full set before.

Here's his haul for the night. The cards have different pictures on each side. Every so often, they change the cards to a different show's crew. Today we got original series Kirk's crew.

When he went to cash in his doubles and chips, I was shocked to see a whopping 16,224 points on his card! That's like, enough for a real Playstation 4 or Xbox One game! Seriously, next time you go to a D&B, imagine having that many points as you browse the exchange shop. It's a lot!

We had to get a new tire while we were down in Virginia. It's actually a used tire, but it's new to us! Don't worry, the tire never blew or anything, it was just loosing air and it was going bad, so we replaced it before we were forced to.

My friend had this cauliflower lamb figure which was adorable. And I like cauliflower a lot so this is extra cute.

This is a pretty specific thing to notice, but my friend saw this and got it right away. Fans of the TV show Firefly will be excited to see this Nissan Leaf with the license plate that roughly says "On The Wind." Because the pilot of the ship says he flies like a Leaf on The Wind.

We were told about the concept of the "Anger Room" and here it is. Pay money to go in a room and break stuff. Yup. Welcome to 2019.

You think Mario would be selling Mushrooms and not Olives?

Hey, you kids, get away from that puddle! Says the lifeguard at the chair in the Walmart parking lot.

It's everypony's favorite retro arcade game, agalaG! Now you can have a cabinet that feels just like you are playing agalaG in your own home! You all remember agalaG, right?

Aaaawwwww Snap'd.
My friend went on a quest of sorts to find these new crackers. The checkout lady gave him a funny look behind his back when he went to buy a bunch of these. He shared some with us and yes, they were worthy of the quest.

Stopped to get a picture of our favorite billboard on the way back up. We do normally stop at Stuckey's and this sign always makes us smile.

Back up in New Jersey and Turbo is still hanging around. Sorry we didn't get him any nuts from Stuckey's but he likes his Honey Teddy Grahams just fine.
