Bike Trip Picture Collection

Here's a collection of pictures we took while out riding our bike around. A few pictures each trip but eventually it piles up into one bunch to share.

This particular day it was sort of threatening rainyness. It's usually nice when the clouds help block the hot hot sun but let's not get carried away. That day we did not stay out too long but we could have, as it never really rained.

A quick break, before we go out, to feed a pal. Squirrels get plenty of exercise, they can enjoy extra treats.

Anybody remember the old cartoon (with a now-horrible title) Fat Albert? Looks like the Brown Hornet owns a gym now. Maybe Albert goes there, too, and is now um... Fit Albert? Can we talk fondly about Fat Albert considering what happened to Bill Cosby? Or is that not cool anymore?

Deer! Objects in photo may be closer than they appear.

This is near office buildings so they are extra checking us out to see if we have treats. Would that be cool to eat lunch outside and toss treats to the deer? Or would that freak you out, having deer so close to your lunch?

There's still new bike-able paths to go down that we've not traveled. We discovered this sidewalk-bridge next to the road over there. They tried to make it look super-old by using those rocks, and I guess it does look pretty old, but it's gotta be modern concrete and stuff under those rocks.

There was a cute little island in between the bridges. Could that be... Exile Island? Cue up the Survivor music.

Nice stream on the other side of the bridge. That's a modern media term to say: Check out our streams.

Rode past this odd station of some kind, with electric boxes and a tank of bioxide water, whatever that is. If you want to leave the gate open, we'll curiously grab a picture.

And that's were this trail ends. Yeah, we could ride down that side-of-the-road lane. But if you've ever done that before, and had cars woosh by you, inches away, at 70mph... you know how terrifying that can be. No thank you.

This massive amount of plants looked cool, when we stopped to snap a picture we saw they were swarming with bees! We were pretty close to them but they had lots of work to do and ignored us.

Haha that's a lot of effort to get the boat out and wind up fishing next to the bridge. Why don't they just fish off of the bridge?

I'm a little amazed they cleared away the fallen tree that was here. Quite thoroughly, too. And they even left the Hatchimal we placed there on the lightpole! I'm sure they must have seen it, right?

Looking down and seeing that tennis ball makes me think there is one sad dog somewhere who lost his best friend. That kind of thought really gets to my sensitive friend. But we could also imagine how happy that dog will be if they find it later.

It looks like some kind of flower'splosion. Imagine Minty running towards  you in slow-motion.

I'm not sure if I've seen this before on the Princeton campus. It looks relatively new, and the quote is from 1969, so that's technically about as old as it could be.

More Princeton random architecture bits. This is just a wall separating buildings and a cool-shaped window for no reason.

This picture looks like it belongs in some kind of art magazine. The sunlight passing through those panels along this curve. Like the whole building was designed to just look cool every afternoon.

Who says that Princeton students don't know how to party? At least one person does!

Another secret nook discovered. We are surrounded by building here. It's eerily quite. Looks like it would make a great scene in a movie of some kind.

Random metal path dividers? Sure! They twisted around a bit but ultimately were just simple short trails. Still neat though, for the total "why?" factor. And just for a moment we could imagine this as some kind of space-distortion portal where we wind up someplace totally different on the other side. Which, I guess we did technically, but I'm imagining like another planet or something.
