Epcot again, part 1

 Got a few more batches of pictures to post from our Disney trip. Who's tired yet? Not us! This was a solid start at Epcot, we gotta go save the Galaxy with some Guardians!

Since we were staying at the Yacht Club, we could simply walk into Epcot. Which was very useful. The way they were doing the "line" for the newest ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, was a little crazy. You have to log into the park app, and at 7AM.... CLICK! AHHHHH!! We all had to get up at before 7 and get ready to quick-draw a button click that theoretically EVERYBODY was trying to click at exactly 7. Possibly thousands of people, everybody that wanted to ride the ride today. It was a "virtual line" that you jump into, and if you missed it, you'd have to pay extra to buy a VIP pass. Only one of us was needed to be fast enough for our whole group, and BAM! We got into the "line" in group B! Which was pretty much right when the park was opening. Yikes! Too fast? Let's GO!

Disney World '23 Magic Kingdom part 2

 Disney World! Got another batch of pictures from The Magic Kingdom, including the popular Haunted Mansion and its gift shop. But there's a few pictures to see before we got there.

We exited Tomorrowland into this Dumbo circus area. I'm not calling anyone dumb! That's his name. This train was spew-ing water everywhere and we all took turns bravely slow-walking through it. Even though none of us got wet, it was a simple but incredibly fun thing to do.

Disney World '23 Magic Kingdom part 1

 Next up on the vacation is The Magic Kingdom. Disney magic! A whole kingdom of it! Okay calm down. Enjoy the pictures.

Main Street is the place you enter. Can you believe this is July 6th? Usually 4th of July week is a sea of people in here. Or so I've been told. Not like I come here every year or anything. Anyway, it's a lot less packed than we expected. Good for us, I guess?

Animal Kingdom '23 part 2

Adorable tiger! Looks kinda like a Buddha? A little odd that this gift shop has Yak and Yeti restaurant names on the stuff, instead of Disney and Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom '23 part 1

 Disney's Animal Kingdom park day! Tons of pictures to get to.

Nothing like a theme park entrance, early in the morning. We are actually here before the park is scheduled to open, expecting a crowd, but it looks like they are already letting people in.

Disney Springs for a bit

 Still got tons more pictures from our trip down to Disney World. This bunch of pictures is during our "break" day, and our hop over to Disney Springs. We only got to do this because the thunder noise from the storm closed down the pool at the Yacht Club, otherwise we probably would have stayed in the pool all afternoon instead.

Gotta wait for the bus! One of the nice things about a Disney vacation is that you don't have to drive at all. There's always something to get you around, and usually for free. Bring some patience, maybe?

Epcot on the 4th of July

 EPCOT! It happened to be the 4th of July, so fireworks needed to be had. Even though we already got space-fireworks last night already. So after roaming around Florida in the morning, we headed over here to catch the show, and some other stuff.

Wee-wee! My French is not that good. We checked into the Yacht Club which is a short walk over to the France part of the World Showcase lake. If you've never been to Epcot, none of that made sense to you.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition part 2

Big model of the ship, along with an odd disclosure agreement about video recording, of you. So don't be surprised if you see yourself in an advertisement for this place, they won't owe you anything. Do all museums have this kind of thing?

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition part 1

 While on our trip to Disney World, we left the parks to go to a couple of things in Florida we've been wanting to do for a long time. My one friend is a big fan of the Titanic. I'm not sure "fan" is the right word. "Buff"? "Interested in the history"? Is it easier to just say "fan" even though that sounds kind of inconsiderate to the tragedy? Okay, for now we'll just say fan. Anyway, he was a fan even before the blockbuster movie. And he knew this museum was here, and we did have a good morning to go, so... I got pictures to share.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is in the middle of a regular old shopping center place, and not a big ship-shaped building, if that's what you were expecting. I'm going to try and keep my comments more respectful this time, there might be some things which are kind of silly, but this is not really the place for that.

Hogan's Beach Shop

 Fresh out of our Galactic Starcruiser adventure, we went "off-property" to hit a few places in Florida that we've been wanting to check out for a while now. One of those places was called Hogan's Beach Shop.

Who? Of course we all know who Hulk Hogan is, right? One of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time! He actually owns a couple of gift shops with wrestling stuff in 'em. Let's go!

Disney World Traveling

Whew! What an adventure! I'm posting pictures at a quicker pace than usual, so if you missed out on our Galactic Starcruiser trip, make sure to go back and catch up. We drove down to Florida for a "vacation" so I got plenty of pictures of everything. This group is from the boring travelling.

Yay! In a car for... all day! This thing was at a rest stop in um... South Carolina? One of the Carolinas. Might be North. One thing's for sure... it's in 'Merica!

Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser - space food!

 One last group of pictures from our voyage on Disney's Galactic Starcruiser. This is all of the "alien" foods they served on the ship! What do they eat in Star Wars? This! I'm probably going to be brief with the descriptions on most of these. To be clear, almost everything we ate qualified as "Sooooo amazing!" And there's only so many ways I can say that. It would be exhausting to try.

I'm going to start off with these Chandrilla Star Line cookies which I got some many handfuls of. It's okay, they told me to take extra! I managed to bring some home with me from the whole trip. Basically like a black and white cookie, but only the vanilla part. So... yum.
