Another bunch of random pictures. I hope there's at least a few people who look forward to this fun nonsense.
During the hottest week of the year, the Air Conditioning in our car stopped working. After a small investigation, smacking the fan would get it working again, but even that stopped working after a few times. Looks like the fan was blown. Which blows.
We were able to remove the fan unit, and another small investigation got us the part number online. The dealership sold it for $410 but we found a non-Honda substitute on Amazon for a mere $40.
A few days later the replacement arrived. We almost did not even take the box inside for this picture, we were so eager to put it in the car.
Oh glorious air! I guess you can't really "see" that it's working again. We had several co-workers who thought we should just "take it to your guy; you have a guy for that, right?" because nobody in New Jersey does their own auto repairs. How much more than $40 this would have cost to get done for us at a shop?
The real "star" of the show was this star-shaped screwdriver bit we would need to unscrew the unit. And there was a tiny struggle because the length of our handles for it was either too big or small. But we figured it out.
I've been posting upgraded pictures for a while now, but this was technically the first picture we took with the new camera. It's fun to text this to our friends and relatives to "show off" the new toy. A few of them were inspired to upgrade themselves upon seeing this.
Shortly after getting the new phone, while in Wal-Mart looking for cases and cables, we spotted this cool Snubbull hanging out. So I guess technically this is the first "Minty Picture" we took.
Why does everything have to be "Limited Edition" now-a-days? McRib was doing that a long time ago before it was cool. Also, head's-up if you are interested, there's Mint Chocolate Chip Oreos.
I knew we'd find something cool in the new claw machine at the local Burger King eventually. Here's some kind of Evil Llama pillow that was too close to the wall to try to get. You could just tell that the claw would have no chance of grabbing it.
Burger "King of false advertising" Pulled Pork Sandwich. It was a good-enough portion size for a meal, but it looks five times this size on the commercial. Seriously pay attention to the commercial it looks like the size of a basketball when they pull the crown away and it filled up the whole thing.
Okay this "Limited Edition" thing has officially gone too far. I can't believe there is a number of Batman fans who will keep these... diapers?! The other way to look at it is... nobody else would possibly think to "collect" these, so if you are the only one "foolish enough" to do it, years from now you'll be the only one with "Mint-in-box" Batman Diapers haha.
Bunnies outside the window! Let's see how the new camera gets 'em.
Hey, it's Turbo! Sometimes we don't see him for a while and get worried. How's your Summer going? Let's get a high-res picture of you with the new camera. Is it my imagination or can I see a smile?
