Scoops Ahoy

Did you see the 3rd season of Stranger Things? There's a fictional ice cream shop called Scoops Ahoy that some of the kids work at. And you can go to Baskin Robbins for real-life treats from the show. My friend was plenty excited since it was such a fun bit on the show.

Of course, we HAD to get a USS Butterscotch. They were out of bananas for the hull, but it's got the waffle cone sails. If I even have to say it, it was amazing. I'll give a special shout-out to our girl from the show because you can't spell "America" without "Erica!" I'll take one more moment to mention that on the show they point out Erica is a My Little Pony Nerd.

This face cut-out has a trace of Steve's trademark "good hair" around the edges. Although I'm not sure he would have qualified for this accolade. That's not any kind of spoiler I don't think.

There's some kind of frozen-ice drink for the theme of Eleven getting a "brain freeze" haha. So if you want to experience that, you can. I suggest giving the extra effort of blindfolding yourself and adding some "white noise" in the background while you quickly slurp it down.

Nobody else would get excited for this, but in Call of Duty you can get random charms to hang off of the side of your weapon. This is a Tamagotchi thing but for Juno, the character Nomad's attack dog he can summon. Since my friend likes using that character he thought this was a pretty neat thing.

Oh, no. That poor company was probably named 80 years ago. Long before such shaming would be woefully and embarrassingly inappropriate.

We've been enjoying the Spanish Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger all Summer but if it's from Spain, shouldn't it be "Grande" with an "e"?

They do know they have to return that cable box to the cable company, right? Even funnier is that there were TWO of these units in the morning and now one of them was missing. If somebody else took it, it will register on the system when they plug it in, and they will automatically be charged for it. Haha technology. We learned all that when the cable guy recently re-wired us.

Dude, if you want to park your Ferrari sideways taking up three spots, then you just go ahead, man. Go right ahead.

Thanks to fan-sites on the Internet previewing everything, sometimes it's nice to be surprised by a new Lego set you didn't even know was coming out. Even if it is only a Duplo set you'd never really get. This is adorable!

You know my friend has a hard time resisting little booster pack mystery things, right? Here's some kind of fortune cookie Littlest Pet Shop thing he had to get just one of to crack open. It's a Lucky Pet so is this some kind of gambling addiction going on here, too?

We got this Deer and the fortune corresponds to some kind of code sheet. How is this going to give us luck again? Maybe we could have thought this through better. Do we need to take it to a Bingo parlor?

Astronaut Cat graphics are cute but the reason we took this picture is that the back clearly shows a kid getting hit IN THE EYEBALL while smiling. That's just funny.
