While we were out all the way to the Berlin Flea Market, we stopped in a few more places in the area. So of course we got pictures to share.
Before we got to the Flea Market, we found a hobby store to check out. You know the type; with all of the model train stuff and fancy car things. Here's a train making the rounds.
My friend is pretty sure he had a Hot Wheels car of this thing when he was little. Maybe we can look it up and get a new quest out of this reminder.
Leonardo Da Vinci tank! I don't remember when cannons were invented, it's been a long time since we've been to a History class. Get it, long time? History? This box says "working" recreation, do those cannons fire?
There was a big display cabinet filled with these small racing cars. They all looked pretty neat but wait, is that like, a wolf? Cool!
Turns out there were a lot of animal character cars. Here's a Panda Bear and Shirokumakko. Is that another word for "Polar Bear" or is that a character of some kind?
Looks like these small cars are a legit hobby with customize-able car bits and scheduled races. Do you race for Pink Slips like in the Fast & Furious movies?
The cars were not that expensive, so we wanted to get one. Y'know just to mess with. We couldn't decide between the Pig or Cat, so we wound up getting them both. It was later that we realized we might need a track of some kind to race these on...
Cherry Hill Mall is in this direction, and it's been a long time since we've been here. The directory is a little confusing to follow because one wing of the mall just splits into the two levels where there's a half down and half up divider area.
There's a Disney Store here. Spotted this cool embroidery design on a jacket.
More "art" spotted in the Lego Store. See kids? If you don't have enough money to purchase these very expensive Lego sets, you can always become a criminal like this guy here! We remember that the Lego Store closer to us had a police guy statue. He's too far away to get this crook.
Took a picture of the available keychains for a friend looking to get one. He went with Batman on the lower row. "Regular" stores do not sell the keychains, you have to go to a Lego Store to get them.
This upper level area was eerily empty and the floor was "wobbly" or something. It was super weird. Maybe the picture would show an un-eveness or like, ghosts?
The whole floor didn't have this sort of detailed tile work, just near the escalator. Anybody else notice how impressive this is?
Hahaha! Check out "F-You" Giraffe here. He just has that look written all over his face. The perfect gift for that kid that just hates getting gifts.
Here's some kind of dice game called Adventure Bones. We almost got the Invader Zim set but there were a lot of different properties maybe we could look online to see what other sets are available first.
Wait, Princess Gold Lily? Can they just add more princesses? Did I miss an episode of the show? How about they make a Princess Minty, if they are going to do that sort of thing.
Is that place called "Chicken-ow"? Like OW! This Chicken! Or some fancy European "Chicke" now. It's almost clever but still not quite right. All the pieces are there, they can figure this out.
This sticker was on the back of a display in the Old Navy store. Well fellas, what size are you? Are you an Elsa size, or an Anna size?
You can just see the shadow pouring off the back of that cloud. This is the type of picture we notice while driving but can't get because y'know... we're driving.
Saw these in the art store and thought "candy wafers" sounded quite awesome. Then noticed the name and thought "Dark Mint" would make a cool sort of name for an evil version of myself. Now I gotta do make up like that cool leaf pattern around my eyes.
Why did we find this so funny?
We think it's just super cute that this big sign at Wendy's calls them "Nuggs." Did anybody copyright that name or is it too late? Is that still a thing, to trademark names like "Nuggs" so other people can't use it without paying?
