Them's the Brakes

The squeeking was a pretty intense notice that the brakes on the car were in need of replacing. Also so other random pictures to share

Trying to get a picture peeking at the tiny amount of pad left on the um, brake pads. It was starting to sound like elephants every time we stopped the car. Okay not really that bad but it's fun to exaggerate.

The mechanic was showing us that we also needed to replace the brake rotors, too. That was going to triple the cost but hey it looks bad, right? What am I looking at?

He let us into the garage to check out the rotors. At least that's not our car they are working on. They are trying to weld this wheel back on? All kinds of controlled fire over there.

Look, you can see there's a bit of the brake pad left. Why, we could have gone a few more months on that amount!

After they were done, he invited us back to get a better picture of the damage to the rotor. Hey, we just spent $300 might as well get some pictures out of the deal. This thing looks like an old vinyl record. I wonder what tune it would play.

Here's the shiny new smooth rotor on the wheel. I guess it is pretty shiny and smooth. Compared to the old one we just replaced it looks much better now.

Hey! It's a Pikachu over there! We are quite "late to the party" and got Pokemon Go on our new phone. You can take AR pictures of your Pokemon like this one. While we waited for two hours to get the brakes changed.

Here's our pal McKachu, who we caught at a McDonald's, outside the Mavis Tire place. There's a "real" Pokemon over there. I think it's called a "Rabbit." The Pokemon Go pokeballs are not able to catch it.

If you didn't know, the art store has craft buttons for your clothes. I'm not sure how these function to like, close pockets or whatever.

To early for Halloween decorations? Check out the Grim Reaper in that hot air balloon. That's just cruel of him to carry you up so high before he pushes over the edge. And no doubt that's what he's going to do.

This is exactly the type of ride that would make my friend hurl. It was a little fun hearing all of the Halloween music over here.

One more fun pre-Halloween picture for now. This one says "violators will have a spell cast on them." Yikes! That sound harsh can I just pay a ticket?

Chocolate Dome! Two ponies enter, two ponies leave. I mean like at some point they leave... because they are too full of chocolate to move. Maybe one pony leaves now and the other one catches up later.

McKachu at home relaxing on the couch. Honestly the Pokemon Go game is all kinds of fun and we kind of want to walk over to the park across the street to check out the Gym over there. In the game it put a Gym over there, there's not really a gym over there.

Haha McKachu playing Call of Duty! Her feet don't reach the pedals of the exercise bike. It's a little work to set up these Augmented Reality pictures with the Pokemon, so I'm not worried. Minty pictures are a lot easier to take.
