We didn't really take too many pictures, choosing instead to do a bunch of relaxing. We went swimming in the pool and forgot to take any pictures of that! Well, there's still some pictures to share.
Here's a map of the Sea Scape resort. We left an advertisement on the peg board. Any new visitors to the blog? Howdy!
If you're new, you need to know to click on the "Read more" below to check out more pictures from our vacation!
During the orientation breakfast, my friend won this collapsible Frisbee in the raffle! We learned that folding it back up requires a dance of some kind?
Decided to go take a walk on the beach and parked near this old-and-busted limo. It was for sale! Might have been fun to try and fix up?
A big storm was approaching. Could you tell by the grey skies and churning waves? Check me out with my feet in the sand!
This foam was oddly solid and wibbly. I don't ever remember seeing this type of thing before?
We decided to walk over to that pipe thing over there. My friend's long-time sandals broke but walking barefeet in the sand is a nice beach thing to do.
Made it to the big rusty plugged-up pipe! There were odd water patterns around it forming a little island of sorts.
Walked along the pipe to get closer to the sea and read this sign. Um, what? Haha I think we'll be okay, right?
Where exactly does this pipe go? Let's imagine there's a secret lab far out to sea, or maybe it goes all the way to Europe?
Check me out! Taking a picture of me, taking a picture of you, taking a picture of me! I'm taking a picture of you!
This black sand next to this rusty pipe is okay to walk through? The sand was very loose and your feet sank a lot more than you'd think over here.
Bulldozers working to push sand around before nature does it for them?
Red Flags flying today of course! If you were crazy enough to go swimming they would rescue you and give you a $250 ticket for your crazyness.
We found a few Poquoson Rocks rocks. Turns out this is a "thing" around here? We left them alone for other ponies to find.
Our friends collected some shells. Maybe arts and crafts time for another day?
Lunch at a favorite spot, Capt'n Franks. Do all restaurants around here sell shirts? We kind of like the idea of every restaurant having fun merchandise.
Painted wooded statue happy hot dawg! Kid's love this kind of thing. Does that make us kids?
Bacon/cheese hot dog and cheese fries. THIS is what vacations are made out of!
Stopped in the Beef Jerky Outlet store, they have some funny t-shirts here, too. Although this one might be crossing the line?
We liked "The Reaper" it was nice and hot!
My friend had the coolest-looking metal spinner we've seen. Had to get a picture of it before we left so we can remember how cool it was. Years from now we'll see this and think how crazy popular those spinners were for a little while?
The BEST weather for our trip home to New Jersey. We weren't in a big hurry so it wasn't too bad.
