Happy New Pictures!

Let's start off the New year with some fun pictures! Happy 2018 everypony!

Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope that this weather gets warmer? It looked like this Meteorologist purposefully picked her Princess Leia cosplay to wear on the news?

Gift of Pictures!

Minty delivers some fun pictures for Christmas! Have a happy day!

Gotta love the Post Office for this cool thing. When do you think kids will switch over to emailing Santa the letters? Hopefully never!

Xmas Build-up

Leading up to the "big" Holiday, here's a random punch of pictures taken in December. Hope you get some holiday cheers?

Somepony made a classic children's book out of the Die Hard movie. With rhymes and stuff. Like this movie couldn't be MORE classic? How did it take so long for this to happen?

One More Train Stop

There was plenty of fun stuff inside the train store, so enjoy another bunch of fun pictures!

I bet somepony is waiting to win the lottery so they can build a train track around a whole neighborhood or something? This place gives you ideas like that.

Dale's Train Station?

So... I have a friend named Dale, and while driving around Virginia Beach we found a model train shoppe with his name on the building. So what's a pony to do? Go in and grab some pictures for him!

So if you also know somepony named Dale, ask him what's up with his shop? I guess ponies named Wendy always get asked about burgers and some Dick always has to explain his sporting goods store?

Anyway, model trains are cool enough and surely there are fun things inside, click on the "Read more" below!

Virginia Thanks

We went to Virginia to have Thanksgiving with the family, so we got some pictures, too!

Here's the King Neptune statue that let's you know just where you are, Virginia Beach, Virginia. I don't want to over-hype this guy, it's not like Statue of Liberty-sized or anything. But he's still plenty cool and running up and touching it is the thing to do here!

Vultures Around

Some more warm pictures from bike rides in the summer.

You may have to look closer in this picture, but it was very obvious we were about to roll right through this party of vultures on this poor deer. Note the "lookout" vulture under the tree to the left? Yeah, nothing to worry about fellas, we are NOT interested in your deer.

Did we make it across without hassle? Click on the "Read more" below for more pictures.

More Odd Pictures

Sharing more odd pictures. Not the pictures are odd, they are pictures of odd things.

This strange plant was growing outside our front door all summer. What kind of plant is this? Crazyberry?

Warm Pictures

It's been a little cold outside so checking out these pictures we took over the summer is helping us to warm up a little. This bunch is more from Princeton and a trip south on the D&R Canal State Park trail.

Here's the train station except we rode our bike here, not the train. This connects to the actual train station that would take you to like New York and stuff.

All aboard! Click on the "Read more" below for some warm summer pictures.

Real Photos

More collected random pictures while adventuring though the retail jungle hunting for treasures.

Read the side of this Polaroid box and then feel a little sad posting photos online. Hey, our photos live on the internet! It's a different kind of life?

Empty Stadium Touchdown

During a summer bike ride, we wandered into the football stadium for the Princeton Campus. Of course we had to get some pictures!

I wonder if there are any smart ponies on this campus who could tell what time it is based on the shadows of the railing? Probably!

Did we score a touchdown? Click on the "Read more" below to find out!

Halloween 2017

Happy Halloween 2017! Hey that rhymes. Here's a bunch of pictures of fun spooky stuff to help celebrate.

Brilliant marketing. Great Pumpkin pumpkins. Nothing different about the pumpkins, but somehow the Peanuts tie-in makes me want one! Good grief.

Bikin' More

More pictures from bike rides from the Summer. Is it chilly outside yet? Hope these pictures help remind you of warmer days.

Out at Princeton again. Notice anything missing? Those crazy Chinese Zodiak heads-on-poles statues are gone. This was a week after we took our other picture and they were gone? Maybe I'd like to see some pony statues here? If I mention it, you think it will happen?

More Summer Bike Ride Pics

More bike riding pictures from the summer. This bunch of pictures is from another trip out to Princeton.

There are some pretty big houses in the neighborhoods around the college. I wonder if this is part of a scavenger hunt? Find the house with the PINK door? Hope that's not "code" for something we don't know about.

Just riding around, click on the "Read more" below for more pictures.

Random Pics but mostly Star Wars

Another bunch of pictures that were randomly taken over the summer. Most of these are Star Wars related for some reason but there's other stuff, too. What kind of fun things did we find?

We got this Pop! figure on a Wednesday which was a couple of days before "Force Friday" when the new Star Wars toys were officially to be sold. Not THAT big of a deal but we were somewhat excited about it at the time. Another thing to note about this particular droid is it's lack-of-name. There better be a ton of these things in the movie like "Stormtrooper" because those figures don't get names. If there is the only one in the movie, it should have gotten a name!

Haha crazy Star Wars nitpicking aside, click on the "Read more" below for more fun pictures?

Return to the D&R Canal

This seems like forever ago when we took these pictures! It's Fall now and posting pictures from bike riding in the Summer? Maybe it can help it not feel as much like Fall just yet.

This bunch of pictures is from a return trip to the D&R Canal State Park. We hit the trail and decided to go north for a whole hour before turning around. Here's our "starting" point which was the furthest we had previously gone.

Random Back-up

There's a lot of random pictures we've collected over the time it took to post up all of our DC trip photos. Also a bunch of pictures we've taken while out riding our bike. So sit back and enjoy the stuff!

We'll start off with a nice rainbow. The arch went all the way across the sky but we couldn't back up far enough to get the whole thing in one picture. You can hold up a mirror to the left edge here to get the effect?

Click on the "Read more" below! I don't even remember which pictures we posted?

International Spy Museum Gift Shop

One last bunch of pictures from the International Spy Museum, as the museum exits in the gift shop! What kind of fun things are in a spy museum gift shop?

Kudos to the employees at the International Spy Museum who know their stuff. With the many many pictures we took all around Washington DC, only two people asked about Minty. Both of them were here at this museum! Is this some kind of spy school? Remember that's still my idea!

International Spy Museum: James Bond 2

Almost done with the pictures from the International Spy Museum. One more group of pictures, Mr. Bond. No I don't expect you to talk, I expect you to enjoy!

Jane Seymour's character was seduced by Bond when he flipped over "The Lovers" tarot card from her deck. Soon revealed he had switched the deck to -only- "The Lovers" cards! Haha the stack of The Lover cards was on display.

International Spy Museum: James Bond

Still posting pictures from our trip to the International Spy Museum, there was a huge exhibit full of stuff from the many movies starring the character James Bond. The very mention of the term "spy" instantly recalls the vision of Mr. Bond and all of his various missions. Dare I sneak away with pictures?

Ah a poster from the 1999 blockbuster movie Le Monde ne Suffit Pas. I remember seeing it but that title is not familiar.

James Bond to the rescue! Click on the "Read more" below?

International Spy Museum 4

If anypony asks, these pictures are NOT from the International Spy Museum in Washington, DC.

International Spy Museum 3

Still a lot more pictures from the International Spy Museum to report to the secret agencies

We weren't sure if this sign was supposed to be funny, or if someone was actually listening to us. Or is this just good advice? Act like someone is always listening.

International Spy Museum 2

Nopony needs to know this but, just for you, here's some pictures you never saw.

It's reasonable to think there would be a school for spies, but it's probably not called "The school for spies." Did I just think of a movie idea? Kinda like Harry Potter, but with spies instead of magic? Ack! don't be a spy and steal my idea! Now the student has become the master!

There goes my bazillions of dollars. You might as well click on the "Read more" below to check out more pictures, at least?

International Spy Museum!

There it is. I would say that meeting my friend's family and spending time with them was the best part of our trip to Washington DC, but by far the second coolest thing was the International Spy Museum. I took tons of pictures so by the time I'm done you might feel like you've been there yourself?

Here in this building is a bunch of not-so-secret secrets stuff. There's maybe a little philosophical debate to be had about revealing secrets in a museum format, like showing how the magic tricks are done? Time to go behind that curtain!

A few more from OBX '17

We didn't really take too many pictures, choosing instead to do a bunch of relaxing. We went swimming in the pool and forgot to take any pictures of that! Well, there's still some pictures to share.

Here's a map of the Sea Scape resort. We left an advertisement on the peg board. Any new visitors to the blog? Howdy!

OBX '17!

While there's one more Museum from Washington DC to post pictures from, which I will keep... secret... for now hehe, I thought I'd take a little break to post pictures from our trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Hanging out in Wal-Mart while awaiting the arrival of our friends. Got here a little later than usual but we're relaxing so no big deal. There's plenty to browse around to keep busy for a few minutes.

Around DC

This is a potpourri kinda bunch of pictures. Pictures that didn't really fit into another batch. Mostly like around-town things we saw.

Can you call it a "subway" is it's going over a bridge? There's a big 'ole river around this city and the subways jump over it.

More interesting pictures click on the "Read more!"

Natural History 3/3

Time for one last batch of pictures before the Natural History Museum closes for the day! Why do the museums close so early? I bet there's a display explaining that somewhere?

Actual space travelers! They may just be rocks, but they traveled through space to get here! If they could only tell stories.

Mostly rocks when you click the "Read more" below, but they're pretty cool rocks?

Natural History 2/3

Quickly running through the Natural History museum in Washington, DC. But still trying our best to "take in" the importance.

There's a laboratory "on display" so you can watch the Scientists um, do stuff. Is this like NASCAR where you secretly want them to mess up so you can watch the wreckage? We don't watch racing but we hear that's a thing?

Click on the "Read more" below for more running-through pictures!

Natural History 1/3

Nature-al History! For some reason my friend really wanted to see some dinosaurs. There was not much time left before the museums were going to close, but we still had like an hour and a half so that sounds like enough time, right?

This is outside the museum. My friend's favorite dinosaur, the Triceratops. So now we can go, right? What? You want to see the whole thing? Sure I bet there's a lot of neat stuff in there!

Little Bit of Air and Space

We went to meet up with our friends who were over at the Air and Space Museum. So we popped in for a second and grabbed a few pictures while we were there.

Awwww yeah! The ORIGINAL original Starship Enterprise! The one actually filmed for the show! Not a replica, or just-like-it. Actually IT! Aren't museums awesome?

We've been here before but there's still a couple more pictures to see. Click on the "Read more" below!

Washington Monument

It's hard to miss this big white tower of awesomeness in DC. It's the Washington Monument!

This picture was from the Uber ride over to the Lincoln Memorial. I wanted to get the sun right behind it but oh well it's still a cool picture.

We walked by and took a few more pictures click the "Read more" below to see?

WWII Memorial

Continuing our walk around Washington, DC, at the other end of the Reflecting Pool is the Memorial for World War II. They use the double "I's" instead of the number 2. I wonder if this will eventually be like Lincoln's "four score" thing? I guess we all still remember Roman Numerals better than scores.

There it is over there. It's a big fountain surrounded by columns representing all of the states and stuff that helped win.

Click on the "Read more" below for the walk-around.

Vietnam Memorial

After the Lincoln Memorial, we stopped by to check out the nearby Vietnam Memorial. Only took a small amount of pictures here.

Statue of some heroic soldiers. Will future ponies think this looks like a this-era version of knights?

Only a few more pictures, click on the "Read more?"

Lincoln Memorial

Four score and seven weeks ago.... How much is a score again? You think Lincoln would have used the "score" terminology if he knew nopony in the future would remember how much a score was? Here's a big 'ole monument to remind everypony how cool this guy was.

Very ancient Roman looking building. What would it be like to be that one person in ancient times that thought up of the whole "column" thing? Mad props to that guy! (Or gal?)

Nice building but LINCOLN is in there! Click on the "Read more" below!

American History 4

The last bunch of pictures from the American History Museum. There's plenty more museums and pictures to go!

American History 3

Cars and Kitchen stuff. You might not think there's too much "history" yet for cars and modern kitchen stuff is still a little boring, but there were exhibits and we got pictures!

My friend made me post the "old" McDonald's stuff as the main picture, since he worked there around this time. So it's like personal history. Did he actually use THAT fry scoop? Maybe???

American History 2

Eclipsed Expectations

I'll take a break from the DC trip pictures to post some recent excitement over the much-hyped ECLIPSE! Will taking pictures of the Sun break our phone? Let's find out!

Here's the start for us in New Jersey at about 1:21 pm. Looking at the camera, not the sun. So it took a few pictures to get a "good" one!

Click on the "Read more" below to see if the hype was worthy?

American History part 1

Buckle up because we took like a thousand pictures of museum stuff! Just kidding, but seriously there's a bunch. I'll try to post them more frequently so check back every other day or so for fresh pictures. So if you have a lunch break or some small amount of time, you can sort-of spend it in Washington DC for the next few weeks?

Our next stop was the Museum of American History! Nothing too special about this sign except to get you excited to find out what we found inside!

So click on the "Read more" below to see what we found interesting enough to photo?

Archived

Our first stop was at the National Archives. This is the place where you can see the actual documents that "created" America. The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, among others. Who wouldn't want pictures of those, right?

So you can imagine my reaction to find out there was a strict no-pictures policy for the entire building. Apparently the act of taking pictures damages the fragile papers? Thanks a bunch, science.

Still, we took a few pictures. Click on the "Read more" below?

Hotel and stuff

What vacation doesn't start with checking into a hotel? BORING! We actually just threw our stuff in the room and bolted out the door to make it to the Arlington services in time. Still, it's nice to have some pictures to look back on to remember silly things like hotel rooms?

Typical hotel room. We're in DC so is there like, listening devices all over these rooms? I remember that from somewhere. We brought Impulse with us because it's always better to travel with a friend.

Click on the "Read more" below to check out what's around the hotel?

Arlington Honors

Last week we went on vacation! Kinda. We traveled to Virginia to say a respectful farewell to a dear friend's father who had recently passed away. Highly ranked in the United States Navy, he earned the great honor of resting among the Nation's heroes at the vast Arlington Cemetery. We didn't take pictures of the service, but rather of the cemetery itself. We asked it it would be okay to post some pictures and our friend was cool with it. It might seem a little sad, and it is, but I'll try to be a bit cheerful, too.

Outside the church you can see all of the grave sites of many soldiers that fought for our great country. Without people like these, we might be living a very different style of life right now. So yay freedom! And thanks!

Just a few things

Hey everypony! I realize I have quite a backup of pictures lately, so I might have to skip over a couple of bike rides to post pictures from our recent trip to Washington, DC. While I'm sorting those out, here's a few random pictures to enjoy.

Baby is the name of the car on the TV show Supernatural, and it's probably my  friend's favorite character on the show! We were a little worried when we found out the POP! figure would be a convention exclusive but Hot Topic got some so we were all over that!

Minty Went to Princeton

It's fun to imply that we attended classes and graduated from a school we simply visited. We got to Princeton on a biking scholarship!

Impulse Pictures

Those bike ride pictures are filling up the summer? So here's a bunch of random pictures we've collected recently.

We totally "Impulse" purchased this cross-over from Build-a-Bear Workshop and... Hot Topic?! Hot Topic had the smaller, cuter, bear we named her Impulse because it kinda sounds like a name that a Hot Topic bear would have and sounds more like a name than Cross-Over. Nothing quite like a new friend to add a bit of happiness, right?

D&R State Park ride back

Another batch of pictures from the return trip down the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park trail. We start at the dam-thing we decided to turn around at. Hehe dam-thing.

What is this thing and why am I standing on it! Get me off of here before the wind blows me into the canal! Also, check out the neat water texture?

Discovered The D&R State Park

After crossing over Route 1 we discovered an abundance of bike riding trails! Very near to the "secret passage" off of the on-ramp there was an entrance to the D&R Canal State Park. So here's some pictures to enjoy!

The smudged glass on this map did not let us get a good photo of it. We looked it up later and the whole thing is like 34 miles long! So that's about as much bike riding as anypony could stand. At the time we didn't know we just hit the trail!

Biking Toward Adventure

Ah, summer bike rides... so nice. Feels good to be out in the fresh air and getting some physical activities going on. Of course there's always some stuff to take pictures of, too!

Why is there a big "X" on the sidewalk? Is there treasure here? Maybe this is an Amazon Drone landing spot test? Maybe there are X's all over the place and from the satellite view you can play connect-the-dots? Oh, what a great movie idea! Let's grab a map and plan this out?

Ride around and see what's interesting? Click one the "Read more" below!
