Facepainted

 More random nonsense pictures to enjoy!

Yikes. Sorry for this nightmare-inducing picture, but it was so jarring that I felt I needed to share. When the camera zoomed in on this cheering fan, there was also a disturbing wailing moan that up'd the creepiness by several factors. I don't know if they were specifically picking up this fan's noise, or if that was just an unfortunate coincidence, but the whole thing took me right out of the game for a hot minute.

My Tiny Horse!

 I'm back with more pictures of stuff I found to make fun comments over. It's not complicated.

My new hero Timothee Chalamet hosted Saturday Night Live again, and once more he did a full song about his tiny horse. It was mind blowing the first time he did it, since... y'know... I'm literally a tiny horse. It brought me so much happiness that they chose to do it again. Your excitement may vary.

Minions are very popular with the kids, but this one looks very inappropriate for kids. I mean, c'mon. Velvet bathrobe and sly glance? Can't you just hear the smooth saxophone music that must be playing here? Does he want to show you his banana?

Shopping Day!

 Have a bunch of shopping pictures on this shopping holiday! It's not the same as it used to be, but you can still get excited if you want.

Am I on the planet Batuu? Nope! I'm in the Disney Outlet Store in Jersey Gardens Mall. I spotted some Galaxy's Edge exclusive merchandise there. It feels a little bit like I'm in a multiverse situation here, as this is supposed to be available only "in" the Star Wars universe.

Bike Riding From Last Summer

 It's way past being Summer, but I found I had some pictures from when I was out riding my bike. So get yourself a blanket or something, and warm up with some sunny pictures.

Behold the beautiful architecture of some Princeton College buildings. We're out riding our bike, are we still considered tourists here? Looks like they put up some party lights. I wonder what it would look like at night all lit up?

Yo Ho Pictures

More pictures, more fun comments. Can you believe some of this stuff?

Disney has toned down the Pirates of the Carribean ride, but apparently not the naming of the merchandise, yo ho! How is it that the word "whore" is spelled with a silent "w" but the abbreviation is not? Shouldn't it be "who" instead of "ho"? Hahaha yeah I know it's usually spelled "Hoe", so "Whoe" would be more accurate. Which is slightly less, but almost as silly.

Visual Feast

 Have some yummy pictures! Okay just a few are about food. I mean "yummy" in like, a general-enjoyment kind of way.

This time I DID remember that Cracker Barrel has fried pickles on the menu! And I also remembered that they are GOOD fried pickles. They can vary from place to place. Sometimes they are not so good, but Cracker Barrel has some above-average ones. Just get some extra napkins so you can press out the grease if they are too soggy for you. I like my fried pickles super-crispy.

Halloween Street '23

 November and BOOM! We all forget about Halloween, in one instant. Well, I got a few more pictures to share. There's a small town around here that celebrates Halloween like you see in the movies and TV. You'd think it's like a fantasy version of it, but I can actually go there! So we took advantage of the opportunity to wander around and check it out.

Me and Lucille here are ready to check this thing out. My friend found his old leather jacket, so for tonight he can be Negan. Are you Negan? Silly to say this because it's a character from The Walking Dead, but it was rather heartwarming to be recognized and cheered on so much throughout the night.

Happy Halloween 2023

 Happy Halloween! I saved up a ton of pictures that I've taken leading up to this fun holiday. Rather than post a couple of different batches, I'll use them all up at once! So if you like a bunch of pictures, it's a treat! And if you get bored half-way through, I guess it's a trick. Isn't that a little bit like real trick-or-treat'ing? You have to visit soooo many houses!

This picture was taken way back in June, some of the first Halloween merch we saw this year. It's a standing-up broom on a motor thing that randomly drives it around the floor. You just know somebody with a robot vacuum cleaner thought up of this. It seems so obvious now.

Ghost-Bolted Tire

 Story time! I had an adventure of sorts, and got a bunch of pictures. Ever get a flat tire?

Lazy Sunday drive, you hear the bumpity-bumpity-bumpity noise that you recognize as "Oh no, I think my tire just went flat!" Luckily I was on a main road with a big shoulder lane, and I even manage to pull over into a lot that needed development but still had the entrance paved, so I was extra-safe away from the traffic. You can clearly see a giant bolt sticking out of the tire. Ugh. There's a lot more to this story!

Thin Book of Dreams

Yikes, I thought I had some content scheduled to post, sorry for the large gap without any pictures. That's what I get for not paying attention. Or, that's what you get? That sounds so much worse. I try to make sure and post something at least once a week, I'll try to pay attention better. Thanks for sticking with me and enjoy the fun pictures and comments.

Hoo boy. That's awfully thin, for something titled "The COMPLETE Book of Dreams". Complete? Really? I did not peek inside to see if the text was like... microscopic. There's gotta be more dreams than that. Bonus points for the thicker book next to it titled "This is What Matters" hahaha. The dreams book is thinner than what matters. Whoa.

Warm Summer Pictures

 It's fall now, but I still am running through my back-up of pictures. Including some I got while out riding the bike. So enjoy some now-comfy, warmer pictures.

There's a guy doing the thing where you wear the waterproof overalls and walk into the river! I don't think this is the right kind of river for that. I mean, It looks like he's not gaining that much more by doing it. Eh, if you have the outfit, you might as well get some use out of it, I guess.

Alien Sky Day

 Another collection of pictures I got, from kind of a while ago.

Got an early-morning call from a friend who asked if I knew what was going on. They were being playfully vague encouraging me to check out... outside. Um... What planet am I on?! This is not digitally altered with a sepia tone filter, this was what the sky looked like that day! I couldn't get a good picture inside the apartment of the strange orange glow peeking around the edges of the curtained windows. Did aliens take over the world while I was asleep?

Long Lost Pictures

 These pictures are from forever-ago! But they are still fun things I saw, so have fun with 'em.

I've never seen any of Lost, but weren't they crashed-landed on an island? Why would there be a car? That show started the trend of "mystery box" plot writing, so why is this car not... in a box? Is that the mystery?

Why does this have to be for Jersey "Girl"s? Boys can snap too. This sounds funny, but honestly, it's a little scary, too. Let's get this person some counseling or therapy, stat!

Back with Biking

 Whew! That was a lot of pictures from Disney World! I have a lot of other pictures that I've taken during the long time it took to post those, so let's get to 'em! Let's start out with a relaxing bunch of pictures I got while out riding the bike.

Yeah, you can probably tell that these pictures were from a while ago, based on the pink flowers. These trees are the prettiest thing ever, for a week or so, at the right time of year. Why can't they look like this all the time? Would we get bored of them if they were? Is there some kind of deep message here?

Busch Gardens Summer '23

Having just got back from a week of Disney World, the trip was not quite over for us yet! The family all had season passes for Busch Gardens, so this was an easy thing to tack on while visiting. Our initial thought was to not get too many Minty pictures, but we wound up getting a bunch anyway.

Gotta get the intro pic. The cool fountain at the entrance says Welcome to the World's Most Beautiful Theme Park! Which is some kind of award they win in some kind of theme park magazine or something, every year. I feel like they might need to explain that? But I kinda know it's legit, from somewhere.

Buc-ee's!

 Trip bonus! Have you ever heard of Buc-ee's? Some of you might be like... um, no? And the rest of you are like: BUC-EE'S!!!! AWWWWWW YEAH! If you don't know, Buc-ee's is a chain of large-sized highway rest stops. And here's a bunch of pictures to show why that's sweeping across the country with great excitement.

There's a huge parking lot and tons of gas pumps. Re-fueling your car is only a little bit of why you came here. Check out the big circle with the mascot Buc-ee Beaver. There's a whole big place to explore over there.

Disney Trip Travelling part 2

 The Disney trip pictures are almost done. This last batch is from traveling around, including the road trip back home. There's a surprise twist ending to the trip, if you are interested. Let's go get um... going.

During our break-day when we left the Disney parks, we passed this upside-down building for something called Wonderworks. We were on our way to other places, but who's not going to get a picture of an upside-down building? Looks like Hulk got the wrong idea when you told him you flip houses.

Disney World '23 Foods

 Foods! I held off posting any food pictures from our Disney World trip, so I could put them all together. That way you can get hungry once. What are we hungry for? It's probably here somewhere.

Pizza Pizza! On the first night of our trip... A quick reminder that we had planned on staying at our friend's relative's house, but ended up in a hotel instead. Either way, we were planning on a simple pizza pizza dinner. We were so excited we each got our own pizza but obviously that was a mistake, a half-pizza would have been just fine.

Disney World '23 Hollywood Studios

 Here's a quick bunch of pictures after our day at Epcot, we park-hop'd over to Hollywood Studios. Mostly because we paid for the park hopping, so we figured we might as well use it. Even though We'd only have... maybe a whole hour? Time enough to grab a couple of pictures, but also not enough time to stop and get to many.

Notice the wet ground. It was drizzling as we took the Skyliner over here. That's a whole 'nother story I got pictures for later. Right now let's run through here while we can!

Epcot again, part 3

 One last batch of pictures from Epcot for this final day of our trip.

China! It's so much fun to walk through these areas in the World Showcase. It's like getting to visit these far-away places without the hassle of actually having to travel there. That's too much paperwork, or something. This is much easier.

Epcot again, part 2

 Continuing with the pictures from our Epcot day at Disney World. There's not too many more vacation picture batches, so hang in there we'll be back to regular random pictures in a little while. For now, there's more Epcot stuff!

One of us really wanted to get over to Mexico in the World Showcase, but we were on this side of the park, and took a detour through The Land. What an odd name for a place. Kind of not descriptive, but I guess... it works.

Epcot again, part 1

 Got a few more batches of pictures to post from our Disney trip. Who's tired yet? Not us! This was a solid start at Epcot, we gotta go save the Galaxy with some Guardians!

Since we were staying at the Yacht Club, we could simply walk into Epcot. Which was very useful. The way they were doing the "line" for the newest ride, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, was a little crazy. You have to log into the park app, and at 7AM.... CLICK! AHHHHH!! We all had to get up at before 7 and get ready to quick-draw a button click that theoretically EVERYBODY was trying to click at exactly 7. Possibly thousands of people, everybody that wanted to ride the ride today. It was a "virtual line" that you jump into, and if you missed it, you'd have to pay extra to buy a VIP pass. Only one of us was needed to be fast enough for our whole group, and BAM! We got into the "line" in group B! Which was pretty much right when the park was opening. Yikes! Too fast? Let's GO!

Disney World '23 Magic Kingdom part 2

 Disney World! Got another batch of pictures from The Magic Kingdom, including the popular Haunted Mansion and its gift shop. But there's a few pictures to see before we got there.

We exited Tomorrowland into this Dumbo circus area. I'm not calling anyone dumb! That's his name. This train was spew-ing water everywhere and we all took turns bravely slow-walking through it. Even though none of us got wet, it was a simple but incredibly fun thing to do.

Disney World '23 Magic Kingdom part 1

 Next up on the vacation is The Magic Kingdom. Disney magic! A whole kingdom of it! Okay calm down. Enjoy the pictures.

Main Street is the place you enter. Can you believe this is July 6th? Usually 4th of July week is a sea of people in here. Or so I've been told. Not like I come here every year or anything. Anyway, it's a lot less packed than we expected. Good for us, I guess?

Animal Kingdom '23 part 2

Adorable tiger! Looks kinda like a Buddha? A little odd that this gift shop has Yak and Yeti restaurant names on the stuff, instead of Disney and Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom '23 part 1

 Disney's Animal Kingdom park day! Tons of pictures to get to.

Nothing like a theme park entrance, early in the morning. We are actually here before the park is scheduled to open, expecting a crowd, but it looks like they are already letting people in.

Disney Springs for a bit

 Still got tons more pictures from our trip down to Disney World. This bunch of pictures is during our "break" day, and our hop over to Disney Springs. We only got to do this because the thunder noise from the storm closed down the pool at the Yacht Club, otherwise we probably would have stayed in the pool all afternoon instead.

Gotta wait for the bus! One of the nice things about a Disney vacation is that you don't have to drive at all. There's always something to get you around, and usually for free. Bring some patience, maybe?

Epcot on the 4th of July

 EPCOT! It happened to be the 4th of July, so fireworks needed to be had. Even though we already got space-fireworks last night already. So after roaming around Florida in the morning, we headed over here to catch the show, and some other stuff.

Wee-wee! My French is not that good. We checked into the Yacht Club which is a short walk over to the France part of the World Showcase lake. If you've never been to Epcot, none of that made sense to you.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition part 2

Big model of the ship, along with an odd disclosure agreement about video recording, of you. So don't be surprised if you see yourself in an advertisement for this place, they won't owe you anything. Do all museums have this kind of thing?

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition part 1

 While on our trip to Disney World, we left the parks to go to a couple of things in Florida we've been wanting to do for a long time. My one friend is a big fan of the Titanic. I'm not sure "fan" is the right word. "Buff"? "Interested in the history"? Is it easier to just say "fan" even though that sounds kind of inconsiderate to the tragedy? Okay, for now we'll just say fan. Anyway, he was a fan even before the blockbuster movie. And he knew this museum was here, and we did have a good morning to go, so... I got pictures to share.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition is in the middle of a regular old shopping center place, and not a big ship-shaped building, if that's what you were expecting. I'm going to try and keep my comments more respectful this time, there might be some things which are kind of silly, but this is not really the place for that.

Hogan's Beach Shop

 Fresh out of our Galactic Starcruiser adventure, we went "off-property" to hit a few places in Florida that we've been wanting to check out for a while now. One of those places was called Hogan's Beach Shop.

Who? Of course we all know who Hulk Hogan is, right? One of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time! He actually owns a couple of gift shops with wrestling stuff in 'em. Let's go!

Disney World Traveling

Whew! What an adventure! I'm posting pictures at a quicker pace than usual, so if you missed out on our Galactic Starcruiser trip, make sure to go back and catch up. We drove down to Florida for a "vacation" so I got plenty of pictures of everything. This group is from the boring travelling.

Yay! In a car for... all day! This thing was at a rest stop in um... South Carolina? One of the Carolinas. Might be North. One thing's for sure... it's in 'Merica!

Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser - space food!

 One last group of pictures from our voyage on Disney's Galactic Starcruiser. This is all of the "alien" foods they served on the ship! What do they eat in Star Wars? This! I'm probably going to be brief with the descriptions on most of these. To be clear, almost everything we ate qualified as "Sooooo amazing!" And there's only so many ways I can say that. It would be exhausting to try.

I'm going to start off with these Chandrilla Star Line cookies which I got some many handfuls of. It's okay, they told me to take extra! I managed to bring some home with me from the whole trip. Basically like a black and white cookie, but only the vanilla part. So... yum.

Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser part 2

I posted the entrance last time, but here's a different marker as you drive up to the valet parking. I like to have an intro pic with the title on it. So let's get back to the adventure!

Disney World's Galactic Starcruiser! part 1

Prepare yourself. This is probably Minty's greatest adventure yet. Quite literally to a galaxy far, far away. I'm going to be a lot more descriptive with this, I'm far too excited to share. So lots of text! The short version is that I went on Disney World's Galactic Starcruiser!

If you don't know what this is, here it goes: A "cruise ship" style stay on a Star Wars vessel. Complete with an adventure you are swept up in. That's not a theme, it's the thing. That is, you are expected to BELIEVE it, because that's the way they treat it. You are "IN" Star Wars. Completely.

Over-Exaggeration

 Boom! Pictures! Boom! Fun comments!

Something called "Dino Finale" makes me question the over-selling of that title. I mean, the dinosaurs went extinct, so is this thing going to be so big, it will wipe us all out? If that was the case, why would they need to sell more than one of these? Who would have thought you could buy planetary extinction at a Walmart?

Fleaday

 Flea Market day! And a few other pictures from the same day.

The sign looks printed, but also hand-drawn. I'm a fan of hand-drawn signs, you can tell by the variance in same letters, like all the "S"s don't look the same. A lot of times, a sign will "look" hand-written, but the letters look the same, and that means it's really a computer font. Anyway, we came here to look for other stuff, not to stare at the sign at the entrance.

Guarded Pictures

 Beware of the pictures! Not really, but that matched the first picture so I said it.

You are powerless against the cute-ness. The Guard Chihuahua works in different ways. You'll be immobilized and unable to do anything but squee at the cute dog.

Objective Surprise

Mind blown. I wound up with this dartboard of unknow origin, and here I see it in the background of an Everybody Loves Raymond episode. They were playing ping pong in the basement. Does this technically count as a cameo? Can objects do cameos?

Darth Ookies

Sorry for the delay, I thought I had some content scheduled to post on it's own, and I guess I wasn't paying attention. I was not totally distracted by the new Zelda game. Oh wait, I was totally distracted by the awesome new Zelda game. Here, have some random pics from a while ago:

I'm trying to think about some kind of joke involving Darth Vader and his burnt-up cookies, but it sounds too painful or mean. The poor guy was burned-up, himself, so I don't think any sort of burnt joke is okay to say.

Fresh Air and Bikes

Zoom! That's not a bike, it's a train. This road bridges up over the track and it's a real workout to pedal up here. Like, in a good way. You get all the fun of relaxing exploration, but also good 'ole exercise.
